Zn50 DRILL COLLAR COMPOUND          

 Zn50 Drill Collar Compoundis bulated with 50% powdered bllic zinc that meets the requirements of API Bulletin ***2. Zn50 Drill Collar Compound has been specifically designed to prevent seizure of threaded connections on oilfield equipment including drill rods, casing and production tools. The product can be recommended for use on shouldered connections.

 Zn50 Drill Collar Compoundis based on a water-resistant soap thickened grease to give easy application and maximum coverage over a broad temperature range. The product has excellent water repellency and will adhere to wet threads, perbance is further enhanced by the inclusion of anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation additives.

The excellent lubricating properties of the high solid content within Zn50 Drill Collar Compound reduce friction between components during assembly preventing; galling, “pick-up”, wear and seizure of threads.

APPLICATIONS:

Specifically designed for threaded connections on oilfield equipment including; drill rods, casing, production tools, tubing and shouldered connections. Also most general assembly work where bl to bl contact needs to be avoided.Zn50 Drill Collar Compound will protect threaded connections of oilfield equipment both in service and in storage.
